Minnie M. Belden, 89, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Whiting, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Tanglewood Nursing and Rehab in Topeka. She was born May 5, 1929 in Whiting, KS the daughter of Clifton I. and Grace (Koger) Belden.

She attended grade school in Whiting. For years she delivered papers to the people of Whiting. She loved being outdoors and had a smile for everyone she met on her paper route.

Survivors include a son, Ronald E. Belden; a sister, Elsie Sellen of Ft. Scott, KS and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Grace Belden and a brother, Walter Belden.

Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Springhill Cemetery in Whiting. Family will greet friends from 11:00 – 12:00 Monday at the Mercer Funeral Home before leaving in procession to the cemetery.
