Myra Lee Sauvage, 85, of Havensville, KS passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Medicalodge Jackson County in Holton, KS. She was born January 12, 1933 in Onaga, KS, the daughter of Delbert and Esther (Teske) Channel.

Myra Lee graduated from Havensville High School in 1951. In early years, she worked for Forbes Supply and Depot in Topeka. Most of her life she was a homemaker and helped her husband, Harvey, on the family farm. Myra Lee was a member of the Havensville Christian Church.

She married Harvey P. Sauvage on September 12, 1953 in Emmett, KS. After 63 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 17, 2017. She was also preceded in death by a son, Marc H. Sauvage and a sister, Doris McKee.

Survivors include a son, Douglas P. Sauvage (Lana) of Havensville, KS; a brother, Dale Channel (Mary) of Rossville, KS; 2 grandsons, Dennis DeVader (Angela) of Netawaka, KS and Auston Sauvage of Havensville, KS and many nieces and nephews.

Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
