Leon Carl Poskochil, 75 of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on March 2, 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He was born on June 19, 1942 to James and Laura (Rasmussen) Poskochil in rural Gibbon, Nebraska.

Leon graduated from Cortland High School.

Leon was married to Donna Rasmussen until her death in 1996.

Leon worked as a sheet rock hanger for many years in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents James and Laura Poskochil,  wife, Donna (Rasmussen) Poskochil, brothers, Terry and Harlan, niece Kerri (Hartwig) Spilker, great nephew, Devin Spilker, nephew, Lucas Scheffert.

Leon is survived by his siblings, Carol Hartwig (husband Harvey) of Cortland, NE, Sharon Schmidt (husband Dallas) of Naples, FL, G. Dean Poskochil (wife Olivia) of Pawnee City, NE, Shirley Wismer (husband Roger) of Lebanon, OH, Rodney Poskochil (wife Leigh) of Lincoln, NE, Pamela Poskochil (husband Pat Hulsebusch) of Pawnee City, NE, Michael Poskochil (wife Mary) of Lincoln NE, Dennis Poskochil (wife Jody) of Pawnee City, NE, Linda Scheffert (husband Russell) of Lincoln, NE, Shelley Witt (husband Michael) of Phoenix, AZ, sister-in-law, Diana Poskochil of Bennet, NE, many niece, nephews and extended family.
