Della Butler, 92, formerly of Atchison, died in her sleep, Sunday, February 11, 2018.

She was a teacher at Salt Creek Valley Elementary School, in Easton, Kansas, while her husband, Lawrence Butler, served as the Superintendent of Schools in Atchison.

She loved sewing, quilting, gardening, and supported music in Atchison.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Her survivors include her three children, David, Mark, La Dell Weinbach, and seven grandchildren.

Visitation for Della Butler will be Saturday, February 17, at 1:00 at the United Methodist Church, in Atchison. A memorial service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Atchison United Methodist Church or to the Dementia Society of America.
