Ora Lee Moore, 67 of Holton, KS passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Holton Community Hospital.

He was born April 13, 1950 the son of Kenneth and Erma (Montgomery) Moore. Ora graduated from Atchison County Community High School in 1968 and he graduated from Washburn University in 1972 where he earned his B.A. in Business.

Ora was a life long farmer and stockman, plus he was employed by the Federal Corp Insurance as an adjuster.

He was a member of the Larkinburg Christian Church, Kansas Farm Bureau, a board member of a Rural Water District and Alpha Delta Fraternity at Washburn University

Ora was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Moore.

Survivors include his mother Erma Moore of Holton, KS and his sister Velda Schwarm (Mark) of Hutchinson, KS. He was also survived by his niece Kellen Liebsch (Andy) and their children Tyler and Madelyn of Westmoreland, KS.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday,  February 13, 2018 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS with the burial to follow at the Larkinburg Cemetery in Larkinburg, KS. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
