Gerald Dale Dodge, 76, of Everest, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas.

He was born on November 18, 1941 in Horton, Kansas the son of Benjamin and Evelyn Gragg Dodge.

Gerald worked for Foster Ford in Horton as a mechanic prior to going to work for Rockwell International in Atchison where he retired after working there 39 years.  He served on the Everest Fire Department for 40 plus years.

On July 28, 1963 he married Margaret Jacobs in Everest, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Dodge of the home, Everest, Kansas; two sons, Allen (Elena) Dodge of Jacksonville, Florida and Leroy (Jennifer) Dodge of Everest, Kansas; sister, Neoma Thomas of Omaha, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
