Joseph G. Forster, 92, Lansing, Kansas formerly of Atchison, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Lansing Care & Rehabilitation Center, Lansing, Kansas.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Lucas officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00 until 7:30 P. M. at the funeral home.

Joseph was born August 23, 1925, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Robert and Mary (Miller) Forster. He attended Pleasant View School and graduated from Holton High School.

He and Donna J. Keefer were united in marriage on February 2, 1948, in Topeka, Kansas. Mrs. Forster preceded him death on April 26, 1994.

Joseph served with the United States Navy until his honorable discharge on April 26, 1946.

Joseph was self-employed as a metal spinner at Forster Metal Crafters for over thirty years.

Survivors include a daughter Tamara (Robert) Mullins, Atchison, KS, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by three brothers, Gaylen Forster, Charles Forster and Robert Forster.
