Robert L. Thompson, 89 of Atchison, KS passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Medicalodge of Atchison, KS.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 24, 2017 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, KS,  with Rev. Matt Broxterman officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Survivors include his wife Freda Thompson of the home, a son Steve and Cindy Thompson, Fort Worth, TX, a daughter, Shelly and Tom Swendson, Effingham, KS, brother Al Thompson, Atchison, KS, a sister, Louise Ellen “Tiny” Kibler, Atchison, KS, four granddaughters, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
