Verna Hall, age 97, of Auburn, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn.

Survivors include her daughters Joan (Joanie) Strohm and husband Stan of Marshall, North Carolina, Patricia (Trish) Merrill and husband Mac White of Austin, Texas, and son Dr. Charles J. (Chuck) Hall and wife Eliane of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Greg Strohm, Mark Strohm, Steve Strohm, Chris Strohm, Matthew Pangborn, Rachel J. McCasland, Katie Andre, Rachel E. Weddell, Laura Merrill, Sarah Moses; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be Saturday, November 18, 2:00 p.m. at Pawnee City First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Prairie Union Cemetery at Shubert. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are suggested to Pawnee City United Methodist Women, Legacy Fund.
