Peggy “Pat” Jane Edwards, 84, of Elwood, Kansas passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Wathena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. 

Pat was born on April 28, 1933 in Elwood, Kansas to Walter & Helen (Purvis) Kuschell. 

She was a member of the Elwood Community Church & prior longtime member of the Clark Memorial United Methodist Church of Elwood. She was primarily a homemaker. 

Peggy married Dale Edwards on August 3, 1951 in Elwood, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents & a sister, Bonnie Littlewood. 

Survivors: daughter, Valerie D. Bilecki (Henry), Maryville, Missouri; 
Sons, Jason R. Edwards (Donna DeBose), Mount Pleasant, Iowa; 
Christopher Edwards (Darla), Valley Falls, Kansas; 
Grandchildren, Laura Bilecki Cobb & Cody & Collin Edwards; 
Brother, Ronald Kuschell, Elwood, Kansas; 
Nieces & nephews. 

Graveside Service: 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 15, 2017 
At the Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kansas 
Visitation: 2-4 Sunday afternoon at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas. Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday.
