Bradley E. Tollefson, 62, of Silver Lake, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born on July 5, 1955 in Brown County, Kansas the son of Norman and Dorothy Barnes Tollefson.

Brad worked for Westar in Topeka, Kansas for over 40 years, first as a lineman, then as a dispatcher. He had retired from there in April of this year.

On May 31, 1975 he married Susan Fryman they were later divorced.

He leaves behind two children, Matt Tollefson of Overland Park, Kansas and Manda (Ian) Mcphee of Kapa'a, Hawaii; two brothers, Tim (Carole) Tollefson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Terry (Cindy) Tollefson of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren, Eve & Elle Tollefson and Karina Mcphee and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M.on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Zion Lutheran Church north of Everest, Kansas. The family will greet friends on Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Bradley Tollefson memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
