Ruth Marie Page, 74, Rushville, Missouri died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Carriage Square Nursing Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Sugar Creek Church in Rushville, Missouri with Rev. Keith Hoover officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 8th from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom the final arrangements have been entrusted. Ruth was born November 29, 1942 in Stonington, Connecticut the daughter of William E. and Ruth E. Banker Hoadley. She moved as a young child with her family to Atchison, Kansas where she attended elementary school and graduated from Mt. Saint Scholastica Academy.

She and Thomas L. Page were united in marriage on October 28, 1963 in Murphy, North Carolina.

Ruth was employed with Ball Brothers Drug Store at the fountain as a waitress for many years.

Ruth enjoyed sewing in her free time making a lot of doll clothing and was an avid follower of CNN News on the television. She and her husband spent many years traveling to Hawaii.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Page of the couple’s home in Rushville, MO; two sons, Tom (Tammy) Page, Kansas City, KS; Jerry Page, Broadway, NC; a sister, Theresa Parris, Atchison, KS; two brothers, John Hoadley, Independence, MO; Eddie Hoadley, Lawrence, KS; and five grandchildren, Jason Page, Melinda Page, Samantha Page, Brandon Page and Erin Page.

Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Mike Page and her parents, Bill and Ruth Hoadley.
