(February 25, 1969 - August 1, 2017) Joseph Andrew Taisipic, 48, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on August 1, 2017 in an automobile accident west of Horton, Kansas. He was born on February 25, 1969 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Joseph and Julia Delgado Taisipic. Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1989 to 1993. He most currently worked for CJ Foods in Bern, Kansas. Survivors include his mother, Julia Taisipic of Yona, Guam; father, Joseph Taisipic of Tuscan, Arizona; four sons, James Adams of Moore, Oklahoma, Michael Taisipic of Topeka, Kansas, Tobin Wabnum of Holton, Kansas and Skylar Wabnum of Everest, Kansas; two daughters, Kathryn Wabnum of Holton, Kansas and Jalesia Taisipic of Horton, Kansas; three brothers, Thomas Taisipic of Yona, Guam, Edward Taisipic of Hobart, Indiana and John Taisipic of Yona, Guam; one granddaughter, Emberly Stout. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary with visitation to follow. Inurnment will be at the Guam Memorial Park Cemetery in Barrigada, Guam.
