Glenda "Kay" Barber, 74, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on May 11, 2017 at the Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas.

She was born on January 12, 1943 in Holton, Kansas the daughter of Glenn and Mildred McBroom Baldwin. Kay attended the United Methodist Church in Holton, Kansas. She worked as a CNA at the Tri-County Manor, Jackson County Nursing Home, Gran Villas in Holton and Hiawatha before retiring in 2006.

She married Willis Barber in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2007.
Survivors include, a daughter, Lynda (Dan) Webster of Horton, Kansas; sister, Clara Marie Kern of Topeka, Kansas; five grandchildren, Ariel Webster, Makayla Webster, Nicole Molina, Nathan Molina and Zach Molina; aunt, JoAnn Dittemore of Kansas City, Missouri and a special cousin, Karra Magnett of Lillis, Kansas.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas and then go in procession to the Muscotah Cemetery for a graveside service. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
