Wathena, Kansas - Kenneth M. Wollnick, 73, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Friday, April 28. 2017 at the Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph, Missouri. 

Kenneth was born on September 22, 1943 in to Paul A. & Freda G. (Scholz) Wollnick. 

Kenneth served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Wathena High School & Missouri Western College & worked as an I. T. Specialist for 37 years at the Heartland Hospital of St. Joseph, Missouri. Kenneth was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus & the American Legion Post #161 all of Wathena. 

He was preceded in death by his parents & brother-in-law, Charles Brosi. 

Survivors: sisters, Geneva Brosi of Savannah, Missouri; 
Ruth Stickley (Doug) of Maryville, Missouri; 
9 Nieces & 9 nephews. 

Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 6, 2017, 
at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wathena, Kansas. 
Rosary: 5:30 P.M. Friday evening at the church, with visitation to follow until 7 P.M. 
Friends may call after 9 A.M. Thursday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas. 
Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery, Troy, Kansas, where there will be military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post #161. 
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Renovation Fund or Donor’s Choice.
