Norma Marie Klahr, 79, of Holton, KS passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born March 26, 1937 in Vassar, KS the daughter of Rufus Valentine and Pauline Emma (Haufler) Bauck.

Norma graduated from Lyndon High School in 1955. She had helped her husband, Delwin, on their family farm since 1961. Norma also worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a bookkeeper and for Denison State Bank in Holton as a proof machine operator.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton.

Norma married Delwin Junior Klahr on April 23, 1961 in Vassar. He survives of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Denise Weber (Richard) of Garnett, KS; 2 sons, Dennis A. Klahr (Eunice) and Dale A. Klahr both of Holton, KS; a sister, Lila Neihoff (Garry) of Ottawa, KS and 7 grandchildren, Jennifer & Jessica Weber, Dillon & Dean Klahr, Kayla Gordon(Matt), Darien Brock (Cody) and Danni Klahr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and triplet siblings, Ruby, Rufus and Wallace.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton. Burial will follow in the Netawaka Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the church. Memorials may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
