Diana L. Wendtlandt, 67, of Falls City passed away December 4, 2016. She was born January 23, 1949 to the late Leonard and Lucille (Aue) Shefferd.

Diana married Ronald Dishong September 7, 1966 at Falls City. He later passed away on August 29, 1996. She then married Henry Wendtlandt, Sr. on September 6, 2001.

Diana grew up in the Stella, NE area and attended school there up to the sixth grade then moved to Falls City and attended school there; later receiving her GED. She worked at Aztec Woodcraft, Southside Bar, Hotel Stephenson, Oasis Restaurant, bartended at various bars, and was also a Nurses Aid at Falls City Health Care Community. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church.

Diana is survived by her husband Henry Wendtlandt, Sr., daughter Sherry Baumgartner and her husband Paul, son, Michael Dishong and his wife Ramona, step-son Henry Wendtlandt, Jr., and his wife Angie, all of Falls City; brothers, Gary Shefferd and his wife Karen of Hiawatha, KS; Ronald Shefferd of Falls City; Dennis Shefferd and his wife Pam of House Springs, MO; Richard Shefferd and his wife Barb of Hiawatha, KS; David Shefferd and his wife Debbie of Fairview, KS; sisters, Patricia Karst and her husband Ronald of Salem, NE; Judy Bradley of Falls City; Sue Buckminster and her husband, Marvin of Falls City; grandchildren, Derik Wisdom and his wife Maggie, Jared Dishong and his wife Michelle, Kyle Dishong, Alicia Holstein, Joshua Fritz, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Moore officiating. Interment will be at Steele Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00–8:00 P.M. at the Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
