Duane Hundley, 86, of Holton, KS passed away September 17, 2016 at The Pines in Holton. He was born September 26, 1929 in Omaha, NE, the son of Ernest and Gladys Irene (Spicher) Hundley.

Duane graduated from Holton High School and later enlisted in the United States Army proudly serving in the Korean Conflict. He then worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as a Lab Tech and Trainer for over 40 years.
Duane was a member of the FO.E., Boy Scouts of America (Oregon Trail District) for over 35 years, American Legion Post #44, J.C.D.C.C., U.R.W. Union, and the Korean Veterans Organization. He was also a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Holton.

Duane married Marjorie Rose Dowd on April 2, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughters, Rosanna Wilson (Keith) of Circleville and Laura Ladusch of Holton; his sons, Randy Hundley (Kristie) and Larry Hundley (Marsha) both of Holton; his sisters Virginia Merwin of Texas and Norma Jean Farmer (Ken) of Holton; and a brother William Hundley of Lawrence, KS, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Duane was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Hundley and Stanley Hundley, a grandson, Joey Hundley and a great-great-grandson, Rowdy Nimo.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Mercer Funeral Home. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time beginning at 10 a.m. Inurnment with military honors will follow at the Holton Cemetery.
