Dennis Lockard, 81, of Stella, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the St. Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Born:  November 11, 1934 in Shubert, Nebraska

Died:  August 20, 2016 in Lincoln, Nebraska

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at The Stella Community Church in Stella, Nebraska with Pastor Bill Stearns officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt, Nebraska.  Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.     

Interment will be at the Stella Cemetery.

Memorials contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.

Dennis is survived by his children: Dennise (Lonnie) Reimer, Dennette Wheeler (Rick Gilbertson), Dennis (Derinda) Lockard, and Darren Lockard (Wendy Hemmer); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister Nellie Lee Lockard of Stella, NE; and many other relatives and friends.
