Virgal Eugene Morrow, 53, Valley Falls, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born Nov. 18, 1962, at Salina, the son of Loren and Delores Alexander Morrow. He graduated from Salina South High School and Washburn Institute Of Technology in Topeka.

Virgal had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co in Topeka for 15 years in the Maintenance Dept. He had managed the Firestone Tire Store and had worked at Frito-Lay, both in Topeka. He was a member of the Nortonville Christian Church, a volunteer at Alpha Christian Youth Home at Perry, a Cub Scout Pack 84 Leader, a Jefferson County 4-H Woodworking Project Leader and a supporter of Prosperity 4-H Club.

He married Angela K. Winter, June 11, 1990, at Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Delores Morrow, step-father, Gene Staggs, sister, Juanita Fisher, and twin sisters, who died in infancy, Diana and Dian Morrow.

Survivors include his wife, Angela, of the home; son, Jordan Morrow, Manhattan; daughter, Alexis Morrow, Valley Falls; step-mother, Bonnie Morrow, Salina; three half-brothers, Loren, James and Bill Morrow, all of Salina; and sister, Rita Weigert, Salina.
 

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at the Nortonville Christian Church. Burial will follow at the Ozawkie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
