Galen Arnold, 73, of Elwood, Kansas died Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home.

Galen was born on September 14, 1942 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Walter and Thelma (Colhour) Arnold. He was a lifelong resident of Elwood and an antique dealer. Galen also served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Beverly “Jeanie” Sellars on January 31, 1974 in Camden Point, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 3, 2015. He was also preceded by his parents.

Galen is survived by his son, Brain Arnold and his wife Rachelle of Wathena, Kansas Granddaughter, Mariah Arnold Siblings; Rita Peterson (Roland) of Easton, Missouri Walter “J.R.” Arnold (Debbie), Jerry Arnold (Carol) and Barbara Gohry (Kenneth) all of St. Joseph, Missouri

The funeral service will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at  11:00 A.M. At: Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena.   Burial will be at the Dearborn Cemetery in Dearborn, Missouri
