Clayton "Clay" Lee Sacher, 61, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas.

He was born on July 7, 1954 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Clayton and Adele Lee Sacher. After graduating from high school in Omaha, Nebraska he enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy. After his enlistment he worked as a carpet layer for a few years. He then became a poker dealer working in casino's in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Iowa and most recently at the Golden Eagle Casino.

Survivors include a sister, Donna Barger of Carson, Iowa; daughter, Tiffany Sacher of Leawood, Kansas; uncle Wayne Sacher of La Vista, California; two nephews, Josh Barger & Jason Roark both of Omaha, Nebraska; special friend, Ric Jensen of Omaha, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. A private burial will take place at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
