Robert W. Leuenberger, 71, of Tecumseh, passed away March 12, 2016 in Tecumseh, NE.  He was born to Fred and Irene (Fricke) Leuenberger on June 29, 1944. Long time rural postal carrier.  U. S. Navy veteran.  

   Survivors:  wife Joyce Leuenberger of Tecumseh, sons, Joseph Leuenberger and wife Kristin of Waverly, Christian Leuenberger and wife Heather of  Cook and Benjamin Leuenberger of Tecumseh, grandchildren, Cole, Alex, Jackson and Megan Leuenberger, brothers, Norman Leuenberger of Tecumseh, Dan Leuenberger and wife Marilyn of Lincoln, sister, Ruth Paper and husband Marty of Hamburg, IA, nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers in law, Janice and Larry Peterson of Grant, Jolene and Harry Kumpula of Lincoln, Marlyce Benjamin of Lincoln and Lynette Benjamin of Omaha.  

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Rev. Tim McClain officiating.

    Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.   Memorials may go to family’s choice.   Interment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska with full military honors by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Team and the Tecumseh American Legion #2 and VFW Post #8221.   Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
