Pamela Rae “Pam” Burnett, 61, of Holton, KS passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her home with family by her side; after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born March 28, 1954 in Hiawatha, KS the daughter of Vernon J. “Pete” and Mary Jean (Gibbs) Burnett.

Pam graduated from Holton High School in 1972. She was a cook and dishwasher for A & W and Trails Café after high school. For 32 years, she was a bus driver for USD 336 and had also worked for Casey’s since 1987. She was baptized at First Christian Church.

 She married Richard Carnoali and they later divorced.

 Survivors include 3 sisters, Nancy Wessel (Leo) of Goff, Jeanne Burnett and Belinda Cashman both of Holton; 2 nephews, Shannon McQueen and Shane Burnett; 4 nieces, Crystal Douglas, Becky Wessel, Paula Pedersen and Marsha Etherton; and 2 Fur Kids, Mutt & Jeff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Burnett.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in Holton Cemetery.  The family will greet friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to Heart of Jackson Humane Society and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
