Veda (Stricker) Rush, 90, of Troy, Kansas died Monday, October 5, 2015.

Veda was born on March 30, 1925 in Wathena, Kansas to Warren and Mabel (Harris) Stricker. She graduated from Troy High School in 1942.

Veda is a member of the First Christian Church in Troy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Michael James Burrell, great-granddaughter, Aleena Rohrer and her sister, Elsie Earhart.

Survivors include;
sons; Jim Rush (Brenda), Wayne Rush (Cindy), Ray Rush all of Troy, Kansas;
Daughters; Donna Burrell (John) of Parkville, Missouri; 
Jean Huffines (Kenneth) of Covington, Georgia; 
Audrey Rush (Daniel Phifer) of Perry, Kansas; 
16 Grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Tuesday, October 13, 2015 – 10:30 A.M.
At: Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy
Visitation: family will receive friends Monday evening 7-9 pm at the Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Troy where friends may call after 9 AM Monday.
