Lois Elaine (Warner) Munson, 69, of Auburn formerly of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on August 7, 1945, in Humboldt, Nebraska to Floyd and Edith (Clutter) Warner. She was raised in Humboldt and attended Humboldt Public Schools.

On March 21, 1964, Lois was united in marriage to Donald Munson. To this union, six children Robin, Clay, Ray, Shawn, Angela, and Amanda, were born. The couple moved to Auburn in 1969 where Lois worked as a nurse’s aid at the Good Samaritan Center for over twenty-five years. She enjoyed her retirement by doing word searches, sewing, and watching General Hospital and The Walking Dead.

Lois passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, Nebraska having reached the age of sixty-nine years, ten months, and twenty-one days. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald Munson, and a brother Gary Warner.

Lois is survived by her children: Robin Munson of Auburn, NE; Clay Munson of Auburn, NE; Ray Munson of Auburn, NE; Shawn Munson of Auburn, NE; Angela Munson of Auburn, NE; Amanda Munson of Auburn, NE; grandson Todd Munson and his wife Melanie of Johnson, NE; one special little girl Taylor Usher of Auburn, NE; a sister Mae Munson and her husband Robert of Cozad, NE; a brother Ronnie Warner of Sioux Falls, SD; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Mary-Ellen Gaither officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt, Nebraska. Family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be at the Humboldt Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Richardson County Cancer Fund.
