Marilyn S. Heintzelman, 69, Topeka, died Monday, April 13, 2014, at her home.

She was born July 16, 1945, at Topeka, the daughter of Donald D. and Eva Ann Herring Rasch. She graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1963.

Marilyn had worked as a cashier at the USAF Commissary, RAF Lakenheath, England. She had also worked as a cake decorator at Schuler’s Bakery, Springfield, OH. Marilyn attended the Meriden United Methodist Church and had taught water color classes at the church.

She married Harry P. Heintzelman, July 6, 1995, at Springfield, OH.

Survivors include her husband, Harry, of the home; two daughters, Virginia Rutherford, Topeka, and Dana (Steve) Burg, Bourbonais, IL; a son, Blake (Debbie) Berry, Springfield, OH; a brother, Dana L. Rasch, Peoria, AZ; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at the Meriden United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
