Mary Alice Coffman, age 86, passed away on March 28, 2015 at the Wamego Health Center in Wamego, Kansas.

She was born in Golf, Ks, on March 18, 1929. Mary was the 3rd oldest of 8 children born to Thomas Earl Coffman and Alice B. (Thompson) Coffman. She retired from Campbell Soup Co. Beatrice NE. Upon retirement she lived in Seneca, KS and then moved to Horton, KS. There she resided for several years before entering Westy Community Care Home in Westmoreland, KS where she lived for 2 years before her death. Mary was a past member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and always participated in their activities, especially Memorial Day and decoration of the graves where she honored her fathers service to country during WW1.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Alice Coffman, two brothers Johnie Earl Coffman and Cecil Leroy Coffman and one sister Alberta Irene Grauer. She is survived by one brother Cleo (Lorna) Coffman of Horton, three sisters Della Hartley of Horton, Joyce (Eldon) Olberding of Seneca and Jean (Gary) Thornton of Wamego. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Horton city cemetery.
