Mary Ann Chesnut, 86, of Reserve, died Saturday evening, March 21, 2015, at Falls City Healthcare Community.

She married James E. Chesnut, Sr. at Selma, Alabama, August 21, 1944.  He died in 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Sondra Semon, three sisters and infant brothers.

Survivors include a daughter Judith Maddocks of Chester, England; two sons:  James Chesnut, Jr. of Reserve, Larry Chesnut of Falls City; sister Lottie Josang of Visalia, California; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

Services are planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha.  Pastor Karla Shafer will officiate.   Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery Hiawatha.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday where the family will meet from 7 until 8 that evening.
