Lillian Mae “Mickey” Burch, 87, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 28, 2015 at Lincoln, NE. She was born April 1, 1927 at Fort Dodge, IA to the late Peter and Anna (Steiner) Rodenborn

On June 7, 1947 she married Philip Burch at Fort Dodge. He passed away January 25, 1999.

Mickey was born in Ft. Dodge, IA and graduated from Ft. Dodge High School in 1944, she then attended Clarke College in Dubuque, IA.  Following their marriage the couple lived in Ft. Dodge until 1973. After retirement in 1984 they moved to Lakewood, NM and spent the next 15 years traveling the country until Phil’s Death in 1999. They had spent many years as Camp Ground Hosts at Lake Dillon Colorado. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at Falls City.

Mickey is survived by her children, Lee and his wife Eloise of Osage Beach, MO, Dennis and his wife Alice of Alamosa, CO, Nancy Brown and her husband Rick of Colorado Springs, CO, Jerry and his wife Pam of Otsego, MI, Laura Smith and her husband Steve of North Pekin, IL, Patty Runyan and her husband Dave of Falls City, Richard and his wife Debbie of Westminster, CO, Diane Smith and her husband Larry of Colorado Springs, CO, nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers Dick, Eugene, Bill, Jim, Pete and Don Rodenborn and two sisters, Anne Johnston and Laura Tilton.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert A. Roh as the presiding priest.
