 Larry A. Mandery, 71, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 3, 2015 at Falls City. He was born October 3, 1943 at Omaha, NE to the late Henry and Elsie (Ottaman) Mandery.

Larry enlisted in the U. S. Army on August 24, 1967 and was honorably discharged on September 27, 1967 at Ft. Benning, GA.

On August 13, 1969 he married Helen Hayes at Blair, NE.

Larry was raised in Tecumseh, NE and attended school there. Following school he worked on the family farm, then began driving a truck. When married the couple made their home in Omaha and he drove a truck for Anderson Construction; they moved to Falls City in 1975. He drove a truck for many people over the road until l991 when he began working for Mickelberry Hams and then drove for R & R Express and then drove for Richard Rowland until his health failed. He was a member of United Commercial Food Workers Union.

Larry is survived by his wife, Helen of Falls City, daughters, Sonya Hoppe and her husband Don of Falls City, Cindy Molt and her husband Ed of Fairview, KS, brothers, Richard of Missouri Valley, IA, Willis of Arizona, granddaughters, Brook Dean and her husband Andy, of Falls City, Alisha Hoppe of Falls City, Savanna Soden of Hiawatha, KS, Molly and Maggie Molt both of Fairview, great-grandsons, Treyden Hoppe, Gavin and Owen Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
