Grace Elaine Cluke, Atchison, Kansas died Friday, December 12, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Kelley officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Friday for one hour preceding services at the church.  Interment will be Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Ebenezer Baptist Church and may be left in care of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom the final arrangements have been entrusted.  Online condolences may be left at www.arensbergpruett.com.

Grace was born December 5, 1933 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Orlo and Daisy Sloss Allen.  She attended Lincoln School, graduating from Atchison High School.  She then obtained college credits through a business college.

She and Edwin I. Cluke were united in marriage on October 30, 1955 in Atchison, Kansas.  Mr. Cluke preceded her in death on February 16, 1999.

Grace was employed for twenty five years at Mt. Saint Scholastica Convent where she served in domestic services and kitchen help.

She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess, former church clerk, kitchen director and president of the missionary circle.  She also was a member of the church choir.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen E. (Cravon) Slade, Burlington, NC, Gabriella Oliver, Burlington, NJ, a son, Edwin L. (Toni) Cluke, Sr., Atchison, KS, two sisters, Katherine Ross, Atchison, KS, Kitty Lou McKinney, Denver, Co, twelve grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She is also survived by two nephews that she raised Montago Ross, Aurora, CO, and Michael Ross, Atchison, KS, and a lifelong friend Betty Ann Downing, Atchison, KS.

She was preceded in death by four daughters, Jacqueline, Sonya, Cassandra and Lori, two sons, Alfonso and Silas, three brothers, Charles Allen, Millard Allen, Orlo Allen and a sister, Betty Jane Morris.
