Jacob Augustin Meng, 19, of Troy, Kansas passed away, Sunday, November 30, 2014.

Jacob was born on June 12, 1995 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Norman & Julie (Lau) Meng.

Jacob graduated Troy High School in 2014, he started 4-H in the 1st grade & earned his 12 year Key Award. He was a member of the FFA. Jacob began farming at a young age on the family farm, after high school he went on wheat harvest for Jeschke Harvesting & worked for Whetstine Farms. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bernard & Irene Meng & Aunt, Connie Sue Meng & a cousin, Brandon Meers.

Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 5, 2014 At: Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena, Kansas Visitation: 5:30-8:30 Thursday evening at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Troy, Kansas.
