Roy Glenmore Oliver, Jr., 88, of Holton, KS passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at Medicalodge Jackson County. He was born September 24, 1926 in Shelbyville, KY the son of Roy Glenmore Oliver, Sr. and Lillian Martin Oliver.
Roy graduated from Hammond High School in Indiana and from Indiana University receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  He was drafted into the United States Navy, serving during World War II. Roy was Vice-President of Taylor Chain in Indiana and owned and operated Tastee Freeze and various car washes in Arizona. He had lived in Indiana until 1972. He lived in Arizona from 1972 – 2003. Roy then retired and moved to Netawaka, KS. He was a member of Shriners.
He married LaDonna Moore on August 7, 1965 in Hammond, IN. She survives of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, LaDonna Reiff and her husband Dan of Netawaka and 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Stephanie.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery (North of Holton).
