Lorene M. Becker, 90, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 17, 2014 at Falls City. She was born November 20, 1923 at Falls City to the late Louis and Emelie (Herbster) Becker.

Lorene was raised in rural Falls City and attended rural schools. Following her schooling she helped her mother in and around the homestead. She was a lifetime resident of Richardson County. She was confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 20th and Towle St.

Lorene is survived by her sister Edna Witt of Falls City, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her parents, sister, Arlene Becker, brothers, Raymond, Walter, Marvin, Richard and Elmer Becker.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (20th and Towle) with Reverend Andrew Chavanak officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

Open visitation will begin Thursday.
