Berneda F. Holthus, age 92, formerly of Johnson, NE, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the Belle Terrace Nursing Facility in Tecumseh, NE. A funeral service for Berneda F. Holthus will be held Monday, October 27, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John’s (Stone) Lutheran Church in rural Auburn, NE. burial will follow at the church cemetery. 

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hall Mortuary in Johnson, NE. 

Berneda is survived by her children, Wylie (Deanna) Holthus of rural Johnson, NE; Calvin (Diane) Holthus of Roca, NE; Loralee (Steve) Lunzmann of Johnson, NE; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Sylvia Fass of Auburn, NE; sister-in-law Violet Whitten of Wathena, KS; other relatives and friends.
