Edith Mae Keys Duguid

Edith Mae Keys Duguid, 87, Winchester, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at the F. W. Huston Senior Living Center in Winchester.

She was born July 24, 1927, at Topeka, the daughter of Ross Bartley and Lola Mae Sloop Keys. She graduated from Winchester High School.

Edith was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the Winchester community. She was a member of the Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church and the church’s Women’s Missionary Fellowship.

She married Charles Duguid April 26, 1946, at Winchester. He died Feb. 25, 2011. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Clark and Rose O’Neill; and  a son-in-law, Mike Wallace.

Survivors include a son, Philip (Eleanor) Duguid, Meriden; four daughters, Sharon (Carl) Mathews, Lawrence, Eileen (Ed) Filbert and Joan Wallace, all of Winchester, and Brenda (Fred) Kuntz, Midlothian, TX; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at the Winchester Reformed Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery at Winchester. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
