Bernice Rathmann, 90, of Falls City, NE, passed away October 11, 2014 at Falls City. She was born May 17, 1924 at Nemaha, NE to the late Roy and Carrie (Conover) Clark.

On March 8, 1944 she married Gene Hendrix at Hiawatha, KS. He passed away November 24, 1969. She then married Donald Rathmann on December 10, 1971 and he passed away May 3, 2007.

Bernice attended schools in the Stella, NE area and then worked in the credit department for Gold and Company as a teller at First National Bank. She and Mr. Rathmann moved to falls city in 1990 and she has lived here since.

Bernice is survived by her sons, Charles Hendrix and his wife Mary of Unadilla, NE, Wendell Hendrix and his wife Ruth of Lincoln, brother, Donald Clark of Falls City, six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sisters, Sylvia Reavis and Edna James, brothers, Olen, Arthur, Wilbert, Paul and Delmar Clark.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery at Lincoln on October 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM.

Open visitation will begin Monday morning.
