Lee R. Liechti, 77, Atchison, Kansas died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 19, 2014 while aboard a cruise ship near the port of Ketchikan, Alaska.

Memorial services will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Hendon officiating.  Private burial of the cremated ashes will be at a later date in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 30th from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Vernon Cemetery Association, American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Liechti of the couple’s home, and a sister, Julie Gehrlin, Liberty, MO.
