Evelyn “Evie” Louise Berger, 74, of Crystal, Minnesota formerly of Wathena, Kansas died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota Evelyn was born on January 14, 1940 in Wathena, Kansas to Milton and Esther (Jager) Berger. Following High School graduation she went to work for American Family Insurance at the St. Joseph, Missouri office in 1958. In 1965 she moved to the Madison, Wisconsin office then in 1978 she moved to the Eden Prairie, Minnesota office where she retired after over 50 years of service and the only employee that worked in all 3 locations.The love of her life were cats. Evelyn was a member of the Zion United Evangelical Church north of Wathena, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Evelyn is survived by her brother, Phillip (Janice) Berger of Troy, Kansas nephew, Edward Berger & niece, Jeanette (Tanner) Smith
